August 11, 1996
Providence Baptist Church
Established on the eleventh day of August
in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred ninety-six
We the undersigned do hereby establish this church, which
shall be known as Providence Baptist Church of Cookeville,
Tennessee. We are a fellowship of Baptist Christians who share a
passion for the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and a commitment
to Baptist principles of faith and practice. Our mission is to
worship and work together for effective missions and ministry in
the name of Christ. May God direct our efforts, light our path,
and bless our service to others as we seek His Providence.
